No measles cases in Ventura County

As of April 25, Ventura County says there are no measles cases in the county, despite the fact that the neighboring Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has recently confirmed five cases of measles.
The L.A. County cases provide a reminder to all residents to check immunization records, health official say. Parents should make sure their children are up-to-date on their immunizations to prevent them from getting the serious and potentially deadly disease.
