NO WET SUITS—Brave souls hit the beach and run into the Pacific Ocean at Zuma last weekend for the fourth annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics of Southern California. Participants raised funds to provide year-round training and sports programs for people with disabilities. Acorn photographer Sylvie Belmond attended, but chose to stay warm and dry on the sidelines.
