New Jewish school wants to move forward despite residents’ concerns

Acorn Staff Writer

A proposed Jewish day school near Old Agoura plans to release its environmental impact report next month despite fears of opponents that nothing can solve traffic, fire hazards and other problems the school may bring.
The 13-acre Heschel School West would be built at the northeast corner of Chesebro Road and Palo Comado Canyon Road, a busy intersection that serves Old Agoura and Agoura High School.
Neighboring residents are unhappy with the school’s traffic study.
