New county voting system gets a test run

Los Angeles County officials want to make it easier for residents to cast their ballot on Election Day. This year, the county registrar is introducing a new system that does away with booklets, pens and home polling stations.

On Sept. 28 and 29 the county hosted a mock election to test the new voting system. One was held at the Calabasas Senior Center.
