Westlake High School’s Associated Student Body will host the inaugural Music Festival to foster awareness and prevention of violence against women and children at 6 p.m. Sat., March 10 at the WHS Carpenter Theatre, 100 N. Lakeview Canyon Road.
The family-friendly event will have food, entertainment and music. Speakers from law enforcement, self-defense experts and counselors will make presentations.
Proceeds from the festival will support Operation Empower, a local nonprofit organization, and the school’s ASG program.
