PUMACIDE—The Ventura County district attorney's office has filed charges against a 60-year-old Simi Valley man for allegedly killing P-38, an adult male mountain lion, earlier this summer. First caught and collared in March 2015, P-38 was known for dominating much of the Santa Susana Mountains. According to the park service, he fathered at least four litters, including P-32, who successfully crossed the 101 Freeway in 2015. Courtesy of the National Park Service
