Mendocino Farms restaurant has ping pong, foosball, food




Mendocino Farms, a sandwich shop and marketplace, has opened its ninth restaurant in Westlake Village at 966 S. Westlake Blvd.

The restaurant offers games such as ping pong, foosball and a kids’ coloring table.

The menu includes entrée salads, soups, side salads and changing seasonal specials.

Sandwich offerings include its Pork Belly Banh Mi with caramelized Kurabuta pork belly and the Not So Fried chicken with fresh roasted free range chicken, fried crispies and a house pickle-mustard slaw.

Winter seasonal sandwich specials include the turkey meatball hoagie with housemade turkey meatballs in marinara, chimichurri and goat cheese on a Drago Bakery’s soft roll; and the Peruvian steak sandwich with spicy aji amarillo marinated steak, Oaxacan cheese, herb aioli, red onions, tomatoes and shredded romaine on a Drago Bakery’s torta bun.

Additional seasonal salad specials include a spicy dijon potato salad, black rice and wheatberry salad with savoy cabbage, kale, carrots and tofu in a sesame ginger dressing; and a curried couscous with cauliflower and carrots.

Special event and full-service catering are available.

Beverages include all-natural fountain sodas, seasonal lemonade, Songbird Sweets and Teas’ Passionfruit Black Iced, wines and craft beer.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
