Master Chorale appoints new officers




Los Robles Master Chorale has announced the appointment of new staff members and officers to its board of directors.

Lenard Geres has been named executive director. A resident of Simi Valley, Geres is a financial representative with OneAmerica Financial Partners. He has a degree in music education and has been a choral director, church organist, pianist, and a choral singer.

Moorpark resident Lynn Youngren has been appointed artistic production and personnel manager of the chorale. Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in vocal performance from California Lutheran University, Youngren has been a soloist, voice teacher, choir director, handbell director and chorister.

Christopher Gambol of Agoura Hills is the new president. Gambol is a corporate customer service trainer and a professional singer having performed with the Los Angeles Opera and Los Angeles Master Chorale.

Mike O’Sullivan of Los Angeles is board vice president and secretary. O’Sullivan has been involved in choral music for more than 50 years, including 40 years with Paul Salamunovich and the St. Charles Choir. He is a retired school administrator.

Camarillo resident Gretchen Fletcher is the new treasurer. She has attended almost all performances by the choral since 2005.
