Man arrested for impersonating police offcer

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 26-year-old Oak Park man July 18 on suspicion of impersonating a peace officer and the false imprisonment of two teenagers in Oak Park.
Deputies say Kenneth Baron detained two 17-year-old males walking on Smoketree Avenue in Oak Park on June 23, after convincing them he was an offi cer of the law.
