After reading the letter in the May 26 edition of the Acorn regarding the post office service, I felt compelled to share my story.
On June 15, 2010, I mailed a priority mail package to South Australia. On Nov. 8, 2010, the package arrived in the small town of Tecumseh, Mich.
So where was the package for almost five months after I mailed it at the counter at the Thousand Oaks Post Office?
It was then forwarded with a registered mail number and left international dispatch in New York on Nov. 11. ...
