LVUSD teacher likes Rippe in the election for board of education

Bicky Rippe, one of the strongest supporters of our students and teachers, has decided to run for the Las Virgenes Board of Education.

Having worked with both students and teachers, Mrs. Rippe, a former teacher herself, is an outstanding candidate as she has seen firsthand and understands the strengths and weaknesses of our district.

Her primary focus is what is best for students, but she knows that focus can only be maintained by supporting teachers as well as considering students’ needs, the goal being classrooms and curricula which provide the ultimate of learning experiences.

However, Mrs. Rippe brings more than just district knowledge and experience to her role as a board member. She has management and leadership skills as well as experience in searching out funding sources.

Mrs. Rippe is a critical thinker, considers all aspects of an issue, is perceptive and probing, and is not afraid to challenge. Yet she knows the dynamics of working as partners and is effective in bringing resolve to problems and conflict. Furthermore, she is tenacious, untiring, and thorough so that whatever her hand touches evolves into a work of only the highest caliber.

We need Bicky Rippe as a member of our board of education. She is intelligent, conscientious, and concerned and will work unceasingly to maintain the outstanding quality of our school district.
