Low income men can get free cancer treatments

UCLA is offering free prostate cancer treatment to low income men who are uninsured. Funded by the State of California, the IMPACT (Improving Access, Counseling and Treatment for Californians with Prostate Cancer) program will help men, regardless of stage of treatment, who are 18 years or older, have no or limited health insurance, do not qualify for Medi-Cal or Medicare and have incomes under 200 percent of the federal poverty level.
