Lost Hills deputy honored

The award, named after Scrivano's father, is given to law enforcement personnel who are injured on the job while protecting the citizens of Los Angeles County. In March 2007, Ranes' motorcycle collided with a car while he was pursuing a speeding vehicle. Ranes, who was hospitalized with serious injuries, is expected to return to active duty within the next month.
