Los Robles unveils new name, logo

Los Robles Regional Medical Center—formerly Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center— has unveiled a new logo and a name change that more accurately reflects the vision of the medical center: “to be the most trusted resource for health, and a regional destination for care.”

Given Los Robles’ rapid growth over the last decade with the acquisition of Thousand Oaks Surgical Hospital, the expansion of the Los Robles Rehabilitation Hospital, the opening of the Los Robles Imaging Center in Moorpark and newly launched programs, all entities will now fall under the Los Robles Health System umbrella.

The new name and look are a result of messaging and branding analyses paired with community input from focus groups.

In recognition of the medical center’s 50th anniversary, the new logo will feature a large “50” accompanied by the tagline “50 years of compassionate care” for the first year of its rebranding.

“Our brand has always stood for healthcare excellence and we feel that the new look captures the essence of our brand purpose and the commitment to the community,” said Adam Blackstone, vice president of marketing and public relations. “Our community is part of the Los Robles family core, and we are thankful and appreciate their valued input, which validated our branding evolution.”

The new branding elements were presented in conjunction with the kick-off of Hospital Week.

Following the announcement, Los Robles rolled out a video commemorating its 50th year anniversary with interviews from physicians, employees, volunteers and community members that have played a role in the hospital from its inception.
