Los Robles Hospital presents scholarships





The following local high school seniors have been awarded scholarships from Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center:

Agoura High School: Veenadhari Chavakula and Jason Kurian

La Reina High School: Michelle Jabbour

Louisville High School: Katie Boryk

Moorpark High School: Kendall Fisher, Lacey Valenza and Jessica Sworzyn

Newbury Park High School: Cheyenne Bingham, Krishna Desai, Radha Desai, Ashlie Mejia and Sara Sabour

Oak Park High School: Daphna Reed and Helen Shi

Thousand Oaks High School: Leanna Caldwell, Lydia Chung and Stephanie Nuno

Trinity Pacific Christian School: Christopher Richert

Westlake High School: Elana Langer

The students completed serving one year or more at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center as student volunteers. Each served a minimum of 160 hours.

Michelle Jabbour and Helen Shi served more than 500 hours and Christopher Richer served more than 1,000 hours.

A scholarship was given to Conejo Valley High School to be presented to the student the school feels will use the money wisely to further his or her education.

The hospital also presented scholarships to the following employees and college volunteer to help finance their education in the medical profession: volunteer Tracey Nichols and employees Jessica Haff, John “Rob” Phoenix, Jessica Salsbury and Bernadete Trice.
