Local hoops players look up to WNBA stars

Teen girls dream of playing in the WNBA.

Aaniya Hutchins and Jesika Magallanes, guards who will join Moorpark College’s women’s basketball team in the fall, said they are excited to watch the upcoming season.

“(The WNBA) has grown tremendously,” said Hutchins, a Calabasas High graduate. “I wonder how big it’ll be when I’m hopefully there one day.”
