Lion lady’s life on film

The Conejo Valley Historical Society will present the movie “Mabel, Mabel, Tiger Trainer” at 1 p.m. Sun., April 28 at the Stagecoach Inn Museum, 51 S. Ventu Park Road, Newbury Park.
The film by award-winning documentarian Leslie Zemeckis is about tiger trainer Mabel Stark, who performed at Jungleland from 1938 to 1967. She also worked for circuses including Ringling Brothers.
