Library offers summer reading fun

LISA ADAMS/The AcornREADING PROGRAM 2000 - Calabasas resident Jonathan Ku, left, illustrates an optical illusion using a card that has a fish on one side and a fish bowl on the other. Ed Shevick, retired science teacher, tells Jonathan to spin the card as fast as he can which creates an illusion of the fish swimming in the bowl. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. each Tuesday, a different program will be offered at the Las Virgenes Library through Aug. 15. For details about the program, call (818) 889-2278.
