The Calabasas Summer Reading Program will run from June 30 through Aug. 16.
The following free events will take place at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays.
•July 8: Mad Science will have a show with interactive demonstrations.
•July 15: The Chamber Music Express with Paul Stein will present stories and music with violin and viola.
•July 22: Nature of Wildworks will share some local native animals.
•July 29: American Cowboy Ken Frawley will perform songs and share stories about the Old West.
•Aug. 5: Pulse Drumming with Budhi Harlow will perform West African-style drumming.
•Aug. 12: Tony Daniels will perform his comical magic show.
For preschoolers, Linnea Richard will sing and tell stories on Fri., July 17 and the SqueeGees will perform on Fri., Aug. 7.
The last program will feature Dan Crow at 6 p.m. Sun., Aug. 16 in the outdoor amphitheater behind the library. Seating is limited but tickets are not required.

The book club for adults will continue with events on July 9 and 30 and Aug. 13.
Membership in the book club is free but a library card is required to participate.
