This is in response to Larry Brown’s letter in the most recent Acorn
I would recommend that Mr. Brown read Thomas Friedman’s book, “Hot, Flat and Crowded” with an open mind and an open heart. As Americans we need to get to a ”green” place fast and with determination for our children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren as well as our national security.
We need “green” now, Mr. Brown, in order to “support the citizens of California” and we should not indulge in political potshots. Get rid of your inner Hummer and embrace your inner Ford Focus.
As Friedman points out, we must enable “an ethic of conservation” to take hold in America.
titled “Green economy is a pipe dream.” When Mr. Brown says “there is no such thing” as a green economy, I say in response that we absolutely must make a green economy happen.
