On the same day the Acorn reported that nearly 42 percent of Mariposa students were not vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella, several California state senators proposed a measure that would eliminate the “personal belief exemption” used by those parents.
Thankfully, the governor, both of our U.S. senators, our school district administrators and the vast majority of parents and teachers seem to support this new legislation.
