The Camarillo-based Ventura County Leadership Academy has hired Pattie Braga as the organization’s new program director.
Since separating from United Way in 2015 and becoming its own nonprofit, the academy has been led by its board of directors, most of whom are also alumni of the program.
“VCLA has seen a tremendous growth in the last few years and the board’s strategic plan put us into position to be ready for program leadership,” said Melissa Baffa, board president.
