Lawyer to present series on advocacy for special needs kids





PAUSE4kids will host a Special Education Advocacy Series in April. The course is intended for attorneys, parents, therapists, teachers, advocates and anyone who wants to help a child with special needs.


Presenter for the series will be Rene Folse, JD, PhD, an attorney and licensed psychologist. Her presentation is approved for continuing education credits for attorneys.


The series will be offered from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, April 2, 16 and 30 at Westlake Village City Hall, 31200 Oak Crest Drive.


Cost for attorneys taking the course for credit is $99 for each session or $249 for all 18 hours.


There is no cost for families and others not taking the course for credit, but a $50 donation per session is suggested.
