Landscape pro to discuss heritage gardens



Janis Hatlestad will share techniques for creating a California heritage garden at 2 p.m. Sat., Aug. 1 at the Calabasas Library, 200 Civic Center Way.
New and experienced gardeners will learn how to blend drought-tolerant, edible and thirsty plants into landscapes.
Hatlestad is a landscape designer with 35 years of gardening experience in the San Fernando Valley. She has a degree in landscape design from Cal State Northridge.
