The five-year debate over what to do with Lot 79 in Westlake Village is close to being resolved.
Las Virgenes Unified School District will buy 8.5 acres of the 44-acre lot along Lindero Canyon Road to build the new Yerba Buena Elementary School, a site once proposed for a major sports park.
The school straddles the border between Agoura Hills and Westlake Village.
