END OF THE LINE—Calabasas resident Robert Blackstone holds what it believed to be the largest fish ever to live in Calabasas Lake. But Blackstone didn’t catch it—he found the estimated 25-pounder near the shore on May 31 after it had died. Another Calabasas resident who saw the fish thinks it had lived in the lake for more than 10 years. The fish, mostly likely a large carp, is believed to have died of natural causes.
