Lake dredging wasn’t enough

I was pleased to read of the dredging done at Lake Lindero in the Aug. 22 Acorn; however, I spotted an appreciable numerical error in one of the statements.
The very localized spot dredging was done to remove buildups of earth immediately downstream of the inlet spillway and immediately upstream of the dam. The rest of the lake was left untouched.
