L.A. County deputies

get new
life-saving equipment
Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca recently announced the countywide distribution of a new life-saving tool, the Law Enforcement Trauma Shooting Kit, an emergency treatment option for deputies in the field.
The small, self-contained first aid kit can be kept in a patrol car and deployed immediately. Its primary purpose is to treat a victim of a gunshot, stab wound or similar life-threatening injury before arrival of emergency medical personnel.
