One study by the American Association for Cancer Research shows that one in four people who have had melanoma (skin cancer) do not use sunscreen when outside for more than one hour.
The findings, recently presented at AACR’s annual meeting in Washington, also showed that 2 percent of melanoma sufferers still use tanning beds—something that has been reported to lead to skin cancers.
