Kindergarten registration about meets Oak Park expectations

Oak Park registered its kindergarten students last week. Most elementary schools do so in the spring, though usually not until late April or early May.
"We try to get the bulk of our students registered early," said Oak Park Unified School District (OPUSD) Superintendent Marilyn Lippiatt. This is necessary, she said, because of staff planning.
