Kids’ Nature Festival scheduled





Butterflies, bats and ladybugs will parade through the 14th annual Kids’ Nature Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., June 5 at Temescal Gateway Park, 15601 Sunset Blvd., Pacific Palisades. It will feature outdoor activities for children 8 and under.


Three dozen activity booths will entertain and educate young children about nature. Among the attractions, children will discover the Bat Cave, search for fossils at the Dino Dig, explore nature with their senses at Sensation Station and examine the Wonder Mobile.


Additional highlights include the Creepy Crawly Costume Parade, interactive exhibits featuring live animals, live music, arts and crafts, a silent auction and nature store.


Tickets are $7 for kids 12 months to 12 years; $8 for adults, $7 seniors; babies under 12 months admitted free. For discounted tickets and more information, call (310) 998-1151.
