Kids can learn the craft of cartooning

Free class to meet at Westlake Village Library

Larry Scott will lead a cartooning class at 4 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month starting Jan. 29 at the Westlake Village Library, 31220 Oak Crest Drive.
The program, sponsored by the Friends of the Westlake Village Library, is open to kids ages 6 through 12.
Kids can learn how small, simple strokes of the pencil can come together to form a silly squirrel, space alien or evil queen.
