My husband, daughter and I recently moved to the neighborhood of Oak Park. Our home overlooks Medea Creek so we have a really good view of the people crossing through it.
When we first moved here, we noticed two young boys around 7 or 8 years old playing in the creek with no parents around. They said they were catching frogs. We could appreciate that our neighbors feel safe in this lovely neighborhood, enough that their children could walk around without parents.
