Kanan and Agoura is not the place to build

To say there is little enthusiasm for the proposed Ave development at Kanan and Agoura roads in Agoura Hills is a gross understatement; there is none.

And developer spokesperson Brad Rosenheim should really stop insulting the intelligence of the residents. To have the nerve to say, “I don’t believe the streets will be significantly impacted, and I don’t believe there is a safety hazard” (June 21 Acorn) after the developer’s traffic engineer David Shender admitted there will be an additional 20,000 car trips per day is a complete lie thrown directly into our faces.

That recent “forum” on The Ave development was a joke and waste of time and, again, insulting. The fact that only a few wealthy, selfish and greedy people can completely obliterate and decimate the gateway to the Santa Monica Mountains is unconscionable and we simply have to do something about it. The gateway will be no longer as you will not be able to see it anymore.
