Jewish High Holy Days arrive soon




CELEBRATING A SPECIAL TIME OF YEAR-Rabbi Gershon Johnson, left, of Temple Beth Haverim and Rabbi Moshe Bryski, right, executive director of Chabad of the Conejo, blow shofars (ram's horns). The shofar will be also blown during Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year, which begins at sundown Wed., Sept. 15, and for Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown Fri., Sept. 24.
