Janss Marketplace hosts 18-foot menorah

Celebration will include potato pancakes

The public is invited to two free events to celebrate and learn about Jewish holiday customs at the Janss Marketplace, Hillcrest Drive and Moorpark Road in Thousand Oaks.
The first of the Hanukkah Family Festivals, hosted by the Thousand Oaks Chabad Jewish Center and Temple Etz Chaim, will run from 5 to 7 p.m. Mon., Dec. 2 to celebrate the sixth night of Hanukkah.
