The Leonis Adobe Museum recently restored its replica of the Calabasas Jail in Old Town Calabasas after a fire burned it in May. Authorities said the blaze was the work of an arsonist.
Repair of the jail was funded from museum funds, according to Leonis Adobe Association Chairman Don Adams.
"To rebuild it, it would’ve been about $19,000," Adams said. "We were fortunate that the fire had not done as much damage as it had appeared and we paid a lot less."
