iSold It hits milestone

Described as the nation’s No. 1 eBay selling service, iSold It recently celebrated the first anniversary its franchise at 5893 Kanan Road in Agoura Hills.

Since opening in Dec. 2004, iSold It has introduced a host of new programs to help residents sell their used or unwanted items, such as a large items program for furniture, appliances and pianos.

iSold It also has programs to help sell vehicles such as cars, boats and motorcycles for both individuals and dealers.

The iSold It ticket program helps individuals sell concert or event tickets to almost any venue.

The process begins when customers bring items they want to sell to iSold It. Trained team members work with each customer to collect information important in an item’s listing. Before posting on eBay, items are professionally photographed and descriptions, highlighting important details, are written.

iSold It then posts the auction on eBay, tracking the item during the selling period, processing payment and packing and shipping the item.

After the item sells, a check is mailed to the customer.

There is no fee to list merchandise with iSold It. The company charges a progressive commission based on an item’s final sale price.

If an item doesn’t sell, the customer can choose to pick it up or donate it to charity.

“I started iSold It so that everyone, from individuals to businesses to fundraising organizations, could have an easy way to sell merchandise online,” said Elise Wetzel, founder of iSold It.

Popular items to sell online include electronics, jewelry and watches, designer clothing, antiques and collectibles, musical instruments, movie and television memorabilia and sports equipment.
