If Davis is gone, Pavley, Kuehl should be next

The Conejo has overwhelmingly voted to recall Gov. Davis and to replace him with a moderate, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Davis’ far left politics and catering to special interest groups at the expense of the California economy is what led to his downfall. It’s these same rotten politics that also accounted for the poor showing of Bustamonte in the election.

Unfortunately the damage caused by the Davis administration has not stopped. Our lame-duck governor continues to sign legislation that pays back special interest groups at the expense of the California economy.

A good example is SB-796, which is a gift to the trial lawyers who feed huge amounts of money into Democratic party coffers. This is one of many new laws that are causing a rapid exodus of business from the state.

Gov. Davis is not the only one responsible for this corrupt legislation. Many members of the California legislature, such as state Assemblywoman Fran Pavley and state Sen. Sheila Kuehl are co-conspirators. Take a hard look at their voting record and you will see that it follows the very party line that has ruined our state and led to the recall of Davis.

We Californians have a long way to go to repair the damage. This repair can only be accomplished with hard-working, honest legislative representatives who will do what is best for the majority. Vote carefully and let’s get legislative representatives, Democrat or Republican, who can be trusted.
