The Las Virgenes Municipal water district is considering an increase in customer rates as it looks to unfold a new five-year plan to pay for, in part, the rising cost of water it receives from its supplier.
Metropolitan Water District, which sells wholesale product to water agencies from Oxnard to the Mexican border, announced it will impose a 7% rate increase on customers over the next two years.
