KIDS IN ACTION—With a slogan of “Take A Stand: Turn Lemons Into LemonAID,” children and their parents from across the Conejo Valley raise funds for the Hurricane Harvey victims by setting up a lemonade stand and collecting donations Aug. 30 at Berniece Bennett Park in Westlake Village. At top from left with the lemonAID stand are Gavin Lau, Norah Lee, Beau Benson, Grady Lau, Hudson Ahl, Tianna Spina, Hayden Goebel and Bijan Yazdanar. Above, 7-year-old Grady Lau of Thousand Oaks, left, and 5-yar-old Norah Lee of Westlake Village pour lemonade.
