FLY LIKE AN EAGLE—Don Felder will present a solo show Nov. 3 in T.O.

Four-time Grammy Award-winner Don Felder and his band will play at 7 p.m. Sun., Nov. 3 at the Kavli Theatre, 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

Felder, formerly of the Eagles, released his first solo album in seven years, “American Rock ’n’ Roll,” in April.

The new album features Sammy Hagar, Slash, Richie Sambora, Orianthi, Peter Frampton, Joe Satriani, Mick Fleetwood, Chad Smith, Bob Weir, David Paich, Steve Porcaro and Alex Lifeson, among others.

“On my last solo album, I had only one guest on guitar—Steve Lukather (Toto)—and I played every other guitar part on every other song,” Felder has said. “I didn’t want to do that this time. I wanted to have people come in and light it up. . . . It was a ball!”

A Gainesville, Fla. native, Felder is a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, having been inducted with the Eagles in 1998.

He spent 27 years with the Eagles, who have sold over 150 million albums worldwide and own the distinction of having the top-selling album of all time “Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975).”

Felder left the band in 2001 and has since succeeded as a solo artist. He wrote a memoir, “Heaven and Hell: My Life in the Eagles (1974-2001).”

Felder lends his time to such organizations as the Starkey Hearing Foundation, the Ruck ’N’ Roll Charity Ball in Hong Kong and Autism Speaks.

Tickets for his Nov. 3 concert are $45 to $75 through Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or online at ticketmaster.com, or in person via the theater box office.
