This Saturday’s Community Health Expo VII at the Agoura/ Calabasas Community Center will give residents a chance see if their personal health is all that they want it to be.
The expo, which is put on by the Conejo/Las Virgenes Future Foundation, is from 9 a.m. to noon April 21.
More than 30 exhibitors will be on hand to provide a variety of resources and information. In addition, attendees can learn Sidewalk CPR from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Members of the public will be able to take advantage of free screenings including asthma, carotid artery/stroke, thyroid, bone density, hearing, vision, foot, blood pressure and blood sugar.
They can also visit the UCLA Healthy U Zone to get the latest health tips.
The size and scope of event grows each year. Expo VII builds upon the most popular programs from previous years, with a wide range of screenings, exhibits, demonstrations and interactive programs.
The Foundation puts on the free interactive family event as a service to the community.
The title sponsor is Belmont Village Senior Living Calabasas. Other major sponsors are the Community Center, UCLA Health, the Acorn Newspapers, Ventura County Health Care Agency, West Hills Hospital, Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, and Platt Village Dental Group and Orthodontics.
