Warmkins for Healing Hugs Club at Calabasas High School raises funding for specially heated therapeutic stuffed animals for people in need.

So far, the club has visited patients at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and also delivered Warmkins to seniors in the community who have been affected by the pandemic.

Over the past school year, the club has raised over $600 through fundraising, and is in the process of distributing 12 Warmkins.

The Warmkins were created by Carolyn Garrick.

Mallory Cooper is the club president and co-founder as well as a former patient at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
