Vandals deface civic center in Calabasas


Recent reports of vandalism have prompted City Council members to consider paying $125,000 for a private security patrol at the Calabasas Civic Center.

On June 8, vandals wrote “KKK” in prominent letters on two walls at the civic center and also drew a swastika.

City Manager Gary Lysik said surveillance footage of the area showed a group of more than two dozen teens loitering in the area.
