Greater Los Angeles Vendor Fair coming soon, ‘Spirit of Optimism’ is theme




The ninth annual Greater Los Angeles Vendor Fair will be presented on Wed., April 24 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.


The event will be hosted by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, County of Los Angeles, City of Los Angeles, and the Los Angeles Unified School District. The event’s theme is "The Spirit of Optimism."


Fair attendees will be offered a full day of informative and interactive workshops and a luncheon program with keynote speaker, Victoria Lowe.


Lowe is the chief executive officer of Alert Staffing, which was recently named No. 1 Woman-Owned Business by the Los Angeles Business Journal.


Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other companies and visit more than 100 exhibitor booths.


In addition, they can learn how to bid on more than $8 billion in public sector contracts and will have access to public sector purchasing officers.


Women- and minority-owned businesses, as well as small businesses, are especially encouraged to attend. Tickets are $55.
