Sage Mountain hosted a new Father’s Day tradition for 2020 on June 21. The theme was “Poppin’ in for Pops,” an afternoon of family visits.
The residents sat inside and met with their family seated outside on a festively decorated courtyard.
The chef offered a craft beer tasting accompanied by a variety of individually packaged “poppin’” snacks like popcorn and homemade jalapeño poppers.
“It is such a privilege to honor all the fathers of Sage Mountain,” said Jade Alma, associate executive director of Sage Mountain.
Sage Mountain has remained COVID-19 free during the pandemic. Only essential employees and health care partners are allowed in the building at this time as they follow state protocols.
To stay touch with Sage, join them for the new “Engage With Sage” live broadcast on Facebook twice per month. The first broad- cast was June 29.
The next broadcast, with a COVID-19 update and interview with Dr. Matthew Lefferman, will be at 10 a.m. July 9.
