ALLTHE FIXINGS—Tim Derosher, right, is one of the many guests at last year’s free Thanksgiving Day dinner hosted by Gateway Church in Agoura Hills.

Gateway Church will host its annual community Thanksgiving Potluck Dinner from 2 to 5 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 26 at 29646 Agoura Road, Agoura Hills.

One of its biggest community events of the year, the dinner offers an opportunity for residents who might otherwise be alone to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixings.

After the meal, the church will host games, activities and a movie.

New this year is an open invitation to Pepperdine University students to attend the dinner. Traditionally a large number of students have to spend this holiday on campus.

Reservations, due by Mon., Nov. 23, are required.

All guests are asked to bring their favorite dishes like sweet potatoes, stuffing, pie, ham, rolls or dishes inspired by their family traditions.

Donations of turkey or other dishes will be accepted to cover the guests who are not able to contribute.

For more information or to RSVP, go to www.gateway4.org or call (818) 889-4147.
