Future Foundation paints bleak picture of affordable housing

If you’re living in a home or an apartment that you think you can afford, consider yourself lucky.
The California Association of Realtors reports the housing affordability index dropped to 33 percent in Ventura County in late 2000 vs. 54 percent nationally.
