A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on the southbound 101-freeway in Calabasas Wednesday morning.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the incident, which occurred shortly after 8 a.m. on Oct. 21. Officers shut down the fast lane just south of Las Virgenes Road, where the collision occurred, to investigate the scene. The lane remained closed for an additional three hours.
